It’s been a decade, since the world’s most popular cryptocurrency was created by the mysterious person who still remains to be unknown – Satoshi Nakamoto. In honor of the Bitcoin, a group of artists has organized an exhibition to celebrate the ten years anniversary of Bitcoin in France.
The Bitcoin Art (r)evolution will be held in an ancient art gallery which is owned by ERM Development, in Paris, starting from the 28th of September until the 5th of October.
As mentioned in the website, “The exhibition will show the potential of cryptocurrencies through symbolism and practice,” and it “will illustrate the genesis of this digital revolution.”
The attendees will have the opportunity to buy the artworks from the event with cryptocurrencies such as BTC, XMR, ETH or LTC. According to the website of the exhibition, some “BTC will be hidden in some works and certificates of authenticity registered in the [BTC] blockchain will also be issued to buyers.” The exhibition will be open to the public.
Pascal Boyart, a French artist and the organizer of the Art(r)evolution said: “We had the idea to organize an exhibition in Paris to show possible use cases of cryptocurrencies and connect the international crypto-friendly artists.”
The featured artists of the crypto exhibition will showcase artworks of various artists around the globe, such as Pascal Boyart, Coin Artist, Andy Bauch, Nanu Berks, Josephine Bellini, Mark Bern, Yosh, and Choq.
