As the 2018 FIFA World Cup approaches, ABCC, the world’s first zero-trading-fee cryptocurrency exchange, is building on the hype and organising three Word Cup Campaigns.
Participants are invited to guess the final four teams in order to stand a chance to win up to 10 Bitcoin (BTC).
From now to 25 June, participants can submit their top 5 picks for the semi-finalists and qualify for the campaign entry. Results will be announced on 7 July, and all participants who guessed the four teams accurately will share the prize of 10 BTC.
ABCC promised to award 0.1 BTC to the first 50 people who transfer funds over 1 BTC on the exchange.
For the first 100 people who deposit over 0.1 BTC, ABCC will give out 0.01 BTC as well.
For the rest who deposit over 0.1 BTC, ABCC promised to award 0.004BTC to all.
As the World Cup progresses, from 30 June to 15 July, participants will be guessing the final scores of each quarter-final match. This means that since there are eight matches, there are eight chances for each participant to guess the correct score. Successful participants will share the prize money of 2 Ethereum (ETH).
In short, ABCC’s Campaigns 1 and 3 are kind of like soccer betting, but with the promise of rewards without the risks.
More information on the campaigns can be found on ABCC’s twitter page.
Launched last month, ABCC is the brainchild of Calvin Cheng, a Singaporean entrepreneur and a former parliamentarian.
Typically, with other cryptocurrency exchanges, a fee is involved whenever trades are made. ABCC aims to attract traders with its unique zero trading fee policy.
